Community Roots Project
Community Roots Project (CRP) is a group of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) and Queer Creatives fostering community through action and mixed media storytelling.
Events – 2020 Voter Registration
CRP hosted a free event to register residents to vote and to educate the community about the federal, state, and county legislation on the ballots.

Education – Social Media Design
CRP aims to create a platform in our local mainstream media outlets to amplify voices and celebrate the existence of marginalized groups as well as the work of different organizations.
Education – Cal Poly, SLO
Since CRP is also involved with the student community, we work to encourage student-lead efforts. Above is an example.
Community – Pots to Plates
Pots to Plates is a new community organization that CRP supports. This organization is run by young students who sell plants to the community and donate their profits to the local food bank. This flyer was created for their Mother’s Day event.
Education – I.C.E.
These slides were created to educate viewers on the origins of I.C.E. and to bring awareness about the injustices this government organization creates.
